Some CMM Interfaces Still Require Full-Size PCI Expansion Cards

Several CMM interfaces, especially those tied to legacy controllers, probe systems, or motion control hardware, still rely on full-size PCI expansion cards including:

The Modern PC Compatibility Problem

Most modern computers no longer include PCI slots.  Motherboards have transitioned almost entirely to PCIe due to its higher bandwidth, scalability, efficiency, and smaller size.  When replacing a PC that facilitates one of these legacy PCI expansion cards, it will be necessary to find a replacement PC that can facilitate this old PCI card.
