Report Profile
The following tutorial describes the procedure for reporting profile of surface using the Report Profile Operation. You'll see two examples... One with Profile to [A|B|C] and another with Profile only to [A]
From the Report Profile Operation, you can now choose Current Ref Frame or New Ref Frame in a familiar fashion according to the Feature Control Frame specified on the technical drawing. If you are already familiar with CMM-Manager Cloud-to-CAD or Cloud-to-Curve Operation(s), then you will notice this new Profile evaluation for partially constrained Datum Reference Frames is much easier to use that the legacy Best-Fit / Datum Lock method.
Notice the Profile Deviation is considerably smaller when referencing only Datum [A] compared to that of referencing Datums [A|B|C]
