VB Script - Multi Piece Reporting

It's possible to generate custom text string(s) to be used in the User notes Report Operation.  Thus, allowing the user to create a report output in any format they choose including for example a summary of diameter(s) from a bolt pattern as shown below.



Considering a program that's measured (6) Cylinders, 1 thru 6...  The following VB Script can be used:
  1. MxDia = 0
  2. MnDia = 100
  3. SumDia = 0

  5. for i = 1 to 6
  6.     CylNm = "CYLNDR" + CStr(i)
  7.     Dia = GetFeaturePropertyAct(CylNm,7)
  8.     SumDia = SumDia + Dia

  10.     If Dia > MxDia Then
  11.       MxDia = Dia
  12.     End If

  14.     If Dia < MnDia Then
  15.       MnDia = Dia
  16.     End If
  17. next

  19. AvgDia = Round(SumDia/6, 4)
  20. MxDia = Round(MxDia, 4)
  21. MnDia = Round(MnDia, 4)

  23. RptStr = "Features  |  CYLNDR 1-6" + Chr(10) + "Nominal Dia  |  9.525" + Chr(10) + "Max Dia  |  " + CStr(MxDia) + Chr(10) + "Min Dia  |  " + CStr(MnDia) + Chr(10) + "Avg Dia  |  " + CStr(AvgDia)

Next, the user can add a User note as follows.  Where the VB Variable "RptStr" will be displayed as text in this User note field.
