Troubleshooting Newmark Rotary Indexer

Troubleshooting Newmark Rotary Indexer

If your rotary indexer has no encoder, it is possible that the table will rotate a couple of degree and stop irrespective of the requested command. When this happens, follow the instructions listed below to troubleshoot this issue:
  1. Uncheck  the "Encoder" option on the "Newmark Rotary Parameters" dialog
    1. This option can be accessed from the System ribbon bar > Machine Setup > Rotary Table > Driver Configuration.

  2. If the above does not resolve the issue, collect a rotary indexer log and send it to support@qxcmm.com.
    1. To enable logs, select the system pearl > Diagnostics > Log Manager > Check "Enable Logging"

    2. For CMM-Manager versions earlier than 2020:
      1. Exit CMM-Manager first, and create a file "rtlog.txt" in the \ProgramData\Driver folder, and start CMM-Manager.
