CMM-Manager tracks all alignment steps until the Reference Frame is determinate (fully constrained), at which time it will automatically synchronize the part program and CAD model to the current part location.
When to use Runtime Align Part
- Whenever the Reference Frame is not determinate, such as a cylindrical part with no rotational alignment feature.
- When additional alignments are created after the first complete Reference Frame.
Adding Runtime Align Part to the Program

- Highlight the Program Operation line just above where you want to add the Runtime Align Part.
- Select Alignment | Ref Frame Management Group | Runtime Align Part from the Ribbon Bar.
- Click the OK button.
- The Runtime Align Part command is added to the program.
The Runtime Align Part command is executed at program runtime.
