Deva 036 Camera Setup

  1. Download the latest Deva CMM Vision Probe drivers from Deva website: https://www.deva.co.uk/products/cmm-vision-probe-fully-autochanging-renishaw-autojoint

 

  1. Install/Update Deva USB Camera device driver (1)
  • From Windows Device Manager, right-click on the Deva USB Camera device, and select “Update Driver”
  • Select “Browse my computer for drivers”
  • Browse to the unzipped driver folder, e.g. “C:\deva036usb24\Drivers”, and check “Include subfolders”, and click “Next”

 

  1. Register DirectShow Driver (2)
  • Copy the 64-bit DirectShow driver file “deva028.ax” from the unzipped folder “\deva028036directshow19\amd64\” to “C:\Deva”
  • Run Windows CMD Prompt as Admin
  • Enter this command:  regsvr32 “C:\Deva\deva028.ax"

 

  1. Launch CMM-Manager as Admin
  • Go to menu System > Machine Setup > Video tab
  • Select “Deva Camera” under Video Source, click “Apply”, then “Connect”
  • Select “Video Capture Filter…”, and select “Deva 036” under Camera, then click “Apply” and “OK”
  • Select “Video Capture Pin…”, and select “RGB32” under Colour Space, and “10247x468 @ 18 fps” under Frame Size, then click “Apply” and “OK”.
  • Click “Apply” button on the Machine Setup dialog, and then “OK”.

 

  1. Exit CMM-Manager, and re-launch CMM-Manager to make sure settings are saved, and live video and lighting work properly.
