CMM-Manager Keyboard shortcuts - How To

Create and manage keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts, sometimes known as hotkeys can be created and customized in CMM-Manager.  These keyboard shortcuts allow the user to access commands quickly without unnecessary mouse interactions.

Default Shortcuts

Some predefined shortcuts exist in CMM-Manager as follows:

Command / Action
Keyboard Shortcut
Print...
Ctrl + P
New
Ctrl + N
Open...
Ctrl + O
Save
Ctrl + S
Copy
Ctrl + C
Cut
Ctrl + X
Paste
Ctrl + V
Pin Dialog
Ctrl + R
Unlock Dialog
Ctrl + E
Re-measure last operation (manual CMM program run)
F5
Invoke last auto feature report operation
F8

Copy / Cut / Paste (fast method)

It is possible to drag & drop program operations by using hotkeys.  Select operation(s) from the Program Database, push and hold Ctrl or Alt key and then drag the operations to a new location.  Ctrl will result in copy(s) of the selected operations, where Alt results in moving the operations from one location to another.  This is particularly useful for re-ordering measurement operations.  If the Full Auto path planning option is used, the measurement path will update automatically upon dragging the measurement operation to a new location.

Define a Shortcut

From the Quick Access Toolbar, select Customize.  The Customize Dialog appears, choose the Keyboard Tab.
