Hi, so in context to using VB Script to bypass manual alignment, we have come into a scenario where we would like to use the same script to bypass half of the program, without confusing any of the QC inspectors, so here's the situation:
We have one part number specifically that has 2 separate molds which contain 8 Cavities on each mold, with a total of 16 cavities that we have to measure, but not consecutively. We are only measuring one mold at a time, or 8 cavities for our in-process checks... What I tried to do was a simple copy and paste the "Manual Alignment VB script" with different wordings and in different steps of the program to create 1 program for all 16 cavities. So, in short, the VB script would ask "Are you measuring cavities 1-8?" and when the inspector selects yes or no, the program would jump accordingly to measure those cavities. The problem that I am running into is that, whether i select yes or no, it still takes me to the end of the program, where i want it to go if we were to select no. So, any suggestions on what the best way to tackle this project?
P.S
We want to use 1 program for the sake of the notes section on the reports.
