I have a question in regard to trying to copy a program for use with two different parts. I work in automotive prototype and deal mostly with automotive sub frames. I have a request in the near future to measure some subframe. Two different types with the only difference being that the body mounts are 180mm shorter in Y direction than the other. The body mount planes are used for Z datum part ref. frame. 

These programs are very extensive and complicated. With over 300-500 dimensions to be reported for each frame. Each frame will be held in the same fixture during measurement. 

My question is, can I generate one program and copy it and do some minor mods to it for use with other sub frame. This would save me over a week or so of added programming. I have added a basic image of what the subframe somewhat resembles and its datums for alignment. The fixture itself has an alignment feature to it as well. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
