I have a Mitutoyo Manual CMM with CMM Manager installed. I have been able to set up a star probe assembly. We are planning measure a large INSIDE diameter of a GROOVE (about 26 inches). We seemed to have set-up the probe correctly - however when we measure we are getting twice the value. There was another post with a similar problem. We checked if had set up the probe correctly and it seems to be. I would appreciate any input that could walk me from setting up the star probe as well as the measuring and report out. thank you in advance
