We occasionally get parts with a fairly busy ID of lands and grooves, which will use star probes.  Whenever a tip change is required, the head will move towards the center and retract all the way out of the part to execute the change, even when the tip change is an "activate only" change and the physical probe head doesn't move.

Is there a way to prevent this via setting change or something?  As it stands now, each time I create an operation to check a feature, I'll let it auto-path, and then go in and manually edit the paths.  This brute force method works, but it's really tedious and time consuming for parts that have a lot of internal features.  Is there a better way?
