I've been thinking about setting up a star probe for some time, but I now have some parts coming that I think a star probe would be very helpful. I was just wondering, since I've never used one before, if any of you have any suggestions, things you wish you did differently, so I have some idea what would be good to purchase. I know everybody has their own use cases so they won't all be universal, just hoping to get some ideas. Probably 60% of our work is done with a 2mm tip between 20mm and 50mm long, 45% with a 1mm in same lengths.
