I know I'm not going to be able to provide all of the details but the simplified version is that I have a program I have ran multiple times over the past couple of weeks and it has ran fine and then I go to run another set of parts and it doesn't go to the correct location. I am using a fixture that I have to measure 10 parts in 1 row and then it goes to row 2 and starts measuring the next 10 parts. Row 1 runs fine but when it goes to row 2 it is not looking in the correct location for the pattern search. I am using a group operation, absolute transfer, and VB Script for part location. The main take away is that I was able to run the program perfect and then I went to run another set of parts and that's when I have the problem. I have done all of the basic troubleshooting (restart controller, fixture holder isn't lose, program wasn't saved over). I should mention this is NOT just a fluke 1 program issue this exact thing has now happened on 3 different programs for 3 different fixtures all using group operation. The 1st row runs fine but when it goes to the 2nd row and each row after it is not going to the correct set location. I'm trying to figure out how to approach this whether it is a CMM Manager software issue or perhaps and IT issue on my end because there was a recent firewall change. I should also mention the machine was recently calibrated and that we actually have 2 of the same machines and I am only having this issue on 1 of them.
