New machine, new questions.
In general practice, I've heard you don't want to use your reference tip for part measurements. Our new machine now has a rack for changing tips, but I currently only have two stylus holders (SH-25-2), so I am currently limited on how many styli I can setup. At the cost of additional stylus holders, I also question the "waste" of a rack slot for a tip that will only be used for the reference tip, so I was thinking of having the reference tip just off to the side and manually load it at the start of the day.
Do you guys use your reference tip for daily part measurements? Do you dedicate a rack slot just for the reference tip?
