Is there a setting so that when you are programming without CAD it doesn't move the head through existing features.  I'm spending a lot of time adding moves to get around the automatic path planning or trying to figure out how to convince CMM manager not to measure holes from the inside of the part.

The only way I can measure outer circles and cylinders is to tell it to measure with current tip and no path planning and then add the head rotations by hand.
