Parallelism of a Disc

Parallelism of a Disc

I will state this issue as plainly as I can.

I am measuring a the surface (Disc Face) closest to the OD that is parallel relative to another surface (Datum-A) which is about the ID. [//|.06mm|A] is the tolerance with the length set to the OD of the face (272mm).

However, this is a round disc and I measured the face via a cloud of points. The discs are typically machined on a 3 chuck CNC lathe which you can see in the report.

The disc shows 3 high spots at nearly equal distance from each other and they are within .003mm of each other. This does not seem to suggest that the face is .069 out of parallel relative to datum-A.

What would be the explanation for this?
