have a part with 12 hole true position call outs, but the hand written reporting form only has a space for 1 value.  So my thought was to simply average the 12 readings and write the results on the hand form....

I have been doing this with a calculator, but it is getting old quick.

how can I get the data from the true position reporting into Excel and preform a average function on the numbers letting the computer do the hard work ?
