I am currently writing a program for a part that has not been machined yet. 

I am going on vacation, and I would like the machinist to be able to put the part on the granite and just follow the steps in the program.

First step being the alignment ( plane, line, circle ) but I can not seem to add the alignment to the program without physically preforming the alignment. 

I think this is probably something very simple. I just have never had to do it, we have a manual machine, and we are a prototype shop, so we run different parts one or two pieces only.
