Hi everyone,

This may be a basic question, but I’m stuck and haven’t found a clear answer.

The small rectangles in the image are square slots, and I already have their measurements. I do not have the CAD files.

I need to determine the distance from the origin to each end of the slots, as indicated by the red arrows. I do not need the distance to the slot center—I need the location of both ends relative to the origin. ( I often do something similar with diameters and, that is pretty simple just by constructing points intersecting lines and circles...I'm in trouble to replicate something similar with the slots )

One important detail: the origin is not a feature of size. It is an imaginary/reference point constructed from other measurements.

What would be the best way to determine these dimensions? How can I construct a point or a line on each end of each slot? 

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
