I'm having some unexpected results and hoping someone can clarify if I'm setting my cloud-to-cad bestfit correctly. I am aligned to ABC, plane on A, align to C thru hole, origin on B.

My lower profile tolerance (balloon 3) is to AB only, so I am using best fit with everything locked except rotation about Z.

However, some of my parts are failing with bestfit.

But the same part will pass without bestfit selected.

Do I have my bestfit set up correctly? If so, why would CMM-M shift the fit to have worse results?
