I saw a couple of questions on here that are similar to this, but I didn't really see definitive answers.

I have an arc for which I need to measure profile, which is unilateral in the positive direction (material can be added).  I'm new to CMM manager and I'm unsure whether or not I should create a cloud for the feature or just measure the arc as a partial cylinder to report profile - or if I should use cloud to CAD.  I saw on this forum there was a question regarding differing results using one technique over the other but it was never resolved (it was a year ago).

There are no datums on this callout, so it's not constrained - I just need form and size, so I'm just looking to compare the actual surface to the CAD nominal.
