Still working through circular slot patterns. The goal is to report the position and then the fit.

Typically I create a circle from the hole pattern to use for reporting the true position of the pattern to the part and for reporting the true position of each hole to the pattern. 

With slots I have to use bi-lateral position. I can create a circle from the slot pattern to use the same way. What I do not know is if that interpretation includes a radial distance or if the created circle is only defined by the tangential position of each slot. However, the slots are tangential to what, the original origin? So, creating a circle from the slots may be self defeating in purpose anyway.

Is there an effective way to attain the position and fit of a circular slot pattern?
