I'm looking for some guidance regarding sphere measurements on a CMM.

Is sphericity a characteristic that can actually be measured and evaluated with a traditional CMM, or are CMMs generally limited to measuring a sphere's size and deriving circularity from sections?

If sphericity can be evaluated, I'd be interested in hearing how you would typically approach the measurement.
