Just curious- does the CMM Manager software offer any type of 3D CAD modeling/modding/manipulation features or optional extentions ? We have a part that we intentionally machine oversized until the final process. The CAD model I am referencing is the final size, but I need to account for the +0.015" extra thickness on each side of this part when probing and checking during the mid machining process. Is there like an extrude feature built-in that would allow me to alter a 3D CAD model's physical characteristics? Also, if not, can I offset the lines or planes I want to align to +0.015 in the appropriate direction vectors, and tell the program to align to a line or plane projected into space, not attatched to the 3D CAD model?
