If I add the calibration ball tree to the furniture, does collision avoidance work during calibration?

i.e. If a probe A90 B-90 is trying to use a ball at 45° in Y-plus (I=0.000 J= 0.707 K=0.707)  but is on the Y-minus side of this ball, will it plan a path to avoid backing into this ball or any other balls on the tree?
