haven't been able to find a good write up on this so i was wondering what the CMM manager community's thoughts are.  is there a best practice for selecting the angle? i typically select it based on clearance but may be sacrificing accuracy?  preferences states recommended less than <45 but that's about the only information i've been able to find.
