Tips & Calibration Data get lost from time to time -> Root cause found!
Hey guys, we have the problem, that tips get lost from time to time and long time I had no idea why but I think I found the cause: - When exiting CMM-Manager all tips and calibration data gets deleted and is then written again from scratch (this takes
Difficulty selecting 3D CAD geometry for Measurement
I have been a CMM-M user for 13+ years. And I have sometimes had problems getting CMM-M to select the correct 3D CAD geometry when clicking on a feature. The most problematic are Cylinders and Cones..... Sometimes CMM-M has a pop-up that asks what feature
How Do I fix my Reference Tip?
I have no idea how to fix this. No idea how it got this way. I am using CMM manager 2020 on a manual Brown and Sharpe Microval. Nothing fancy, we typically put in whatever non-repeatable tip we want, calibrate and measure away. Scales are all reading
Cad view glitch
For some reason our cad models started disappearing when we open a program. It pops up then zooms off the screen. We have to hit show all to make it come back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaTeqKaq5hs
Empty Cloud as result from 2D-Scan
Hey guys, we just got a License and I encountered a problem. I created a section, picked the contour, created a spline and added to the cad. Then I select the cad curve within a 2D Scan.. The resulted Point Cloud is empty.. Did anyone had this behaviour?
Fixture Reference Frame checked on by itself
We have an issue where the fixture reference frame check box gets checked on all by itself. This is a real problem when we run and it wants to move to somewhere unexpectedly. We have broken several tips over time because of this. Has anyone else had this
Flatness/parallelism
Hello, I am still surprised by a measurement result. It concerns flatness and parallelism. I do not find it normal to have a parallelism defect on a plane which is lower than its flatness value.
Just a basic question.
I pickup the part. Level, align and origin a simple plane and circle. Go back to the program with the next feature at X 0 and Y0 and the feature keeps moving. Firstly I would like to lock the feature but everytime I go back to the feature it has
ERROR MESSAGE: INCORRECT ARGUMENTS
Created a program. Worked fine for a few runs. Then all the sudden popped an error message. "SYSTEM ERROR 23904: -NAN(IND), INCORRECT ARGUMENTS." Any ideas?
Conflicting program setting max values with cmm-manager and uccserver
Good morning, I’ve been having a conflict with my max values when I first start the machine up and home versus after I disconnect and reconnect cmm manager to the machine and uccserver. When I first turn on the cmm, launch cmm manager and uccserver
Alignment issue after programming offline
This is our first attempt at making a program offline and then attempting to run it once we receive the part from the shop floor. No matter what we've done so far, we can't seem to get the program to line up with our CAD Model. We're hoping that we can
